We liked our stay here. This is historical old building, age of centuries, very atmospheric and with interesting architecture, the former monastery. Our room was spacious and airy, with high selling about 4m high and thick brick walls, faced the backyard with very beautiful view (see foto attached), quiet and warm, we even switched the heating regulator to the lowest level, because it was too warm for us. Beds were comfortable, wifi was good (2nd floor, 207 room), breakfast was basic but enough to start the day (ham, sausage, cheese, bread, croissans, 2 kind of pies, coffee, tea, juce, youghurts, butter, jam, etc). The highlight of this hotel is the rooftop terrace available 24/7 with very beautiful view on Rome, both in an evening and a day, see foto attached. Another highlight is location near the archeological area, very green and intreresting to discover, not typical touristic but the place where local people live and walking. Also Christian sacred places are nearby (Laterano basilica, The Holy steps, Baptisterio, Santa Croce in Jerusalemme basilica, etc). Colosseo, Santa Maria Maggiore, Santa Prassede, San Clemente and San Pietro in Vincoli basilicas are in about 30 min walking. And staff was very friendly and kind. Thank you.

The location was fantastic - very central , right next to Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. There were many restaurants and coffee shops around as well as great public transport connections. The staff was very polite and friendly and helped us a lot with booking a cab as well as holding safe our luggage. The rooms were clean and daily service kept them neat. We loved the vibe of the old monastery as well as the architecture and its history. Its view from the terrace was amazing and the whole archaeological complex was magnificent. Comfy beds and desks and chairs as well as renovated bathrooms.

Location is Ok, it is not in the center, but relatively close to metro (700m). Nice walking park on the way to the metro. A booth with a free cold and sparkling water near the hotel. We asked to check out late and they agreed to let us use the room until 18:00 for extra charge. This was very helpful. The room was huge, but the furniture very old. There were scratches on the walls. Air conditioner was very good, facilities Ok. A nice terrace on the roof for breakfast (we also went there in the evening to sit down and relax). A safe in the room.

I liked the basilica right next to our room,I didn't even have to leave the premises to go to a beautiful place of worship. The roof top terrace had an awesome view while eating breakfast. Watch out if you leave the table with food on your plate ,I ran to get more napkins and a pigeon got my croissant.I went to get a new one and he acted like it was GOLD and reluctantly gave me a replacement.

The location was exceptional. The staff was incredibly responsive and attentive. They spoke enough English to make my stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was a real bonus. The attitude of the staff was so professional. I felt like I was staying at a very pricy place. This was an incredible value, and I am already planning my return here.
